EA Sports releases UConn's roster for NCAA Football 11

Rentschler Field, as it appears in EA Sports' NCAA Football 11. Mhhmmm, what a sweet digital East Hartford skyline.

It may be just a game, but EA Sports' NCAA Football is a great way to pass the time until the actual season starts. Thanks to their new teambuilder feature, its now possible to check out UConn's full roster in the game. There are a few wonky things (guys listed in the wrong position), and EA Sports seems to have a ton of faith in UConn's kickers, but mostly the numbers feel pretty accurate.

It's a little time consuming to list everyone, but hit the jump to see UConn's top 14 players and their ratings. If you have any requests for a specific player, put it in the comments and I'll try to oblige. If you want to fight through EA's site, you can check out the whole roster here.

Star-divide

  1. Sr. Guard Zach Hurd -- 90 OVR
  2. Sr. LB Lawrence Wilson -- 88 OVR
  3. Jr. RB Lawrence Todman -- 88 OVR (Todman is listed as #24, instead of #23)
  4. Jr. C Moe Petrus -- 85 OVR
  5. Jr. K Dave Teggart (!) -- 85 OVR
  6. Sr. DE Greg Lloyd -- 81 OVR (The game has Lloyd listed as a LB instead of a DE)
  7. Fr. P Chad Christen -- 81 OVR
  8. Sr. LB Scott Lutrus -- 81 OVR
  9. Jr. OT Mike Ryan -- 81 OVR
  10. So. G Erik Kuraczea -- 81 OVR
  11. Sr. QB Zach Frazer -- 80 OVR
  12. Jr. DT Kendall Reyes -- 80 OVR
  13. Jr. DT Twyon Martin -- 80 OVR
  14. Jr. WR Isiah Moore -- 79 OVR

That picture of Rentschler Field is totally off.

The sun is never out there. Every time USF has to play UConn there in my dynasty, it is 17 degrees and snowing sideways.

Well it also rains constantly during my home games

So I guess what I’m saying is the weather is not well-calibrated. But hey, at least you took it way too seriously.

No, I got you

just having some fun. I actually prefer the as much weather as possible in my games — sure, my virtual guys may be miserable, but I enjoy the effect.

Sun Belt, though... that was low.

And yes, sometimes I crank the temperature down to 25 below zero just for maximum chaos.

Aside from Lutrus,

who is incredibly too low, can’t complain. Good to know that they’re really high on Christen, and that they probably think Isiah Moore is Kashif Moore (but that will be rectified when I make Difton a 99).

I imagine a function of his injury.

Too bad all the dumb NCAA rules mean I’ll have to fix that manually once he starts tearing it up. I also refuse, refuse, refuse to buy the rankings of the kickers. However, I won’t change them because I’m a homer and I’m pissed about the fact that for a decade I haven’t been able to kick a field goal outside of the 25-yard-line.
