A public service announcement

I would like to take this opportunity to publicly announce that I, Andrew Porter, will not be present for UConn's game against St. John's tomorrow in the opening round of the Big East Tournament. In addition, should the team advance, I have no intention to attend any subsequent games the team may participate in.

As longtime readers know, I attended the Big East tournament for all four of my years as an undergraduate, and, in each of those years, the Huskies were eliminated in their first game, with last year's six overtime loss serving as the cherry on top of my misery sundae. I can only hope and pray that with my absence, the Huskies can once again win in the Big East tournament, and perhaps, if fate is kind, return to their former glory by dominating it. That is all.

Actually

Same here. I’ve been at the last four tournament games, starting with them losing to the McNaClowns. Hopefully Porter, you and I staying away will bring some goodness back to the team.

The hell is this nonsense?

I wasn’t at 2006, and in fact UConn is 2-0 all-time playing St. John’s at MSG when I’m in attendance.

Nevertheless, you all can suck it, because I didn’t get tickets anyway.

Orange Bowl/dual Final Fours or bust in 2011. We're going all-in.
