At some point I will get around to commenting on yesterday's disaster and this season as a whole, but that point is not today, and it probably will not be for a while. In the meantime, I'm going to try and distract myself by learning about, watching and commenting on women's basketball. At least the other UConn basketball team won't break my heart (in theory). I suppose we can start with this video from Jeremy Schapp talking about the comparatively little recognition the women have gotten for their dominance. Deadspin chimed in here, feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.

I keep telling myself that I'm going to write something about the women

And then it comes back to the fact that how can you write about a team that hasn’t been tested since I was a junior at UConn? And so then I usually watch something on Fox Soccer Channel.

I’ll have plenty of time to come up with something now though, I guess.
