Fun with graphics: Syracuse Edition

Last week's long research post was a successful endeavor, so I went back to the vaunted 1-2 punch of Microsoft Excel and MS Paint to try and explain Syracuse University in a short series of charts and graphs. My findings - which have been carefully peer-reviewed for accuracy by the New England Journal of Medicine and upstate New York's top medical journal, Syracuse Voodoo Weekly - are below the jump.

So...

A National Championship and perhaps the best football player ever (Jim Brown) is not good to you. Granted, SU leaves a little bit to be desired nowadays but UCONN can’t hold a candle to the tradition at SU. Dwight Freeney, Donovan McNabb, Marvin Harrison, Jim Brown, Floyd Little, Larry Csonka…the list goes on and on.

And you make fun of Syracuse culture? OK Storrs, Ok Hartford. Those places are pathetic! ANd look at the overall record of SU vs. UCONN. Who wins there big guy? I give props for UCONN really doing a great job with the football team and with a great hoops program the past decade, but seriously….

SU beats UCONN in both overall academics and sports. Deal with it.
Good luck tomorrow. Can you beat us? Sure. it is Big East basketball, anything can happen. But this year, SU is the superior team.

Hey...

He’s got a point there with Jim Brown.

Jim Brown may have SU’s first truly great beater of women.

That...

I laughed at! Seriously, I am from CT but went to SU. I hope it is a good game tomorrow but SU may be too strong unless you guys have a great time.

heres a breaking news story for you

Scott Lutrus openly used steroids at Brookfield High School. Therefore all your football wins over the last 3 years should be relinquished.
