From our lips to your ears: Welcome to TheUConnBlogcast

The idea of TheUConnBlogcast has existed almost as long as TheUConnBlog itself, but, despite our best efforts, Kevin, Justin and myself were always stymied by two nearly insurmountable obstacles: laziness and inertia.

Still, just before the South Florida game I promised that we'd have a podcast before UConn played in a BCS bowl. Sure, I'd promised that and failed to deliver five times before, but I'm not the type to break a half-dozen promises. Plus, we figured that if Randy Edsall can somehow will his boys into the BCS, the least we can do talk about it for half an hour.

Your three topics for today: UConn and the BCS, men's basketball after the Pittsburgh loss and the women's winning steak, which might be ending in a few short hours.
So here it is, recorded live-to-tape for you, so get ready for some hard-hitting Husky talk and impressive amounts of odd phrasing, stammering and awkward pauses. We do it out of love. Enjoy.

UPDATE: We're now listed in iTunes. Enjoy.
