Big East Football Power Rankings Week 11

The Big East may be one giant mess, but luckily, your SB Nation Big East bloggers are here to sort it all out. Well, kind of. At least we all agree that Rutgers and Cincinnati are clown shoes; everything else is all over the place. Read on, if you dare.

Syracuse fans, I have some bad news for you: Sean from Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Magician doesn't think you deserve to be on top of the Power Rankings. I have some good news, though: He's not the only one. Syracuse only received two first-place votes to Pittsburgh's four, but the Orange's overall tally of 44 points (naturally) was just barely enough to give them this week's top spot.

This makes me all the more excited for something that neither I nor anyone else has ever seen before: a meaningful UConn-Syracuse football game. It's going to be a pleasure knocking Syracuse off the top and claiming the crown for Randy Edsall.

1. Syracuse (2) (7-3, 4-2): 44 points -- @ Rutgers W 13-10 -- Last Week: 2

2. Pittsburgh (4) (5-4, 3-1): 42 points -- @ UConn L 30-28 -- Last Week: 1

3. South Florida (6-3, 3-2): 33 points -- @ Louisville W 24-21 (OT) -- Last Week: 4

4. West Virginia (6-3, 2-2): 30 points -- vs. Cincinnati W 37-10  -- Last Week: 5

5. UConn (5-4, 2-2): 28 points -- vs. Pittsburgh W 30-28 -- Last Week: 7

6. Louisville (5-5, 2-3): 21 points -- vs. South Florida L 24-21 (OT) -- Last Week: 3

7. Rutgers (4-5, 1-3): 12 points -- vs. Syracuse L 13-10 -- Last Week: 6
