Cody Endres, who was suspended for the season yesterday after reportedly failing a drug test, will not be welcomed back to the Huskies next year.
UConn head coach Randy Edsall has said suspended quarterback Cody Endres will not be welcomed back to UConn next year, according to the associated press. Endres, was suspended for the remainder of the season yesterday, after reportedly failing a third drug test.
In his place, redshirt freshman Michael Box will start for UConn during Saturday's game at Louisville. Former starter Zach Frazer will be his backup.
According to Brian Bennett's blog, Randy Edsall had this to say about the move:
"A lot of times, you get addition by subtraction."
Let's hope so.
