Endres suspended for remainder of season

PrintStarting quarterback Cody Endres has been suspended for the remainder of the season for a violation of university policies, the UConn football team announced today. That was the same reason given when Endres was suspended in the preseason, though that doesn't mean it was the same violation. So much for today being about basketball.
So many questions from all of this. First of all, what happened? Is this at all related to Erik Kuraczea deciding to leave the team yesterday? And who is going to start against Louisville? Will Edsall stay true to the depth chart and go with Mike Box or will we be back to Frazer? More as it happens.
Here's UConn's statement:
STORRS, Conn. (October 20, 2010) --- University of Connecticut junior quarterback Cody Endres (Washington, Pa.) has been suspended from the football team for a violation of University policies. This suspension will be in effect for the rest of the 2010-11 academic year and thus Endres will miss the remainder of the 2010 football season. The University and the Division of Athletics will have no further comment on this issue.

that I want to see Box start on Saturday. I’ve seen Frazer this year, I have no interest in seeing him again.

But wow, just wow. All the excitment and high expectations going into the season have completely collapsed into hopefully next year will be better. Which is why I agree that I want to see what we have in Box.
As a side note, I got tickets for the game this weekend expecting a blow out. Thats turned into I hope we just get a win.
Can we make a left turn with the band wagon and direct it towards the Yankee Pinstripe bowl now? Because otherwise I’m going to have to get off.
