Randy Edsall announced today that left guard Erik Kuraczea has left the UConn football team. Kuraczea, a redshirt sophomore, was suspended along with quarterback Cody Endres earlier this season. Shortly after his return to the team he was inserted into the starting lineup. However, according to the Courant's report, it seems that Kuraczea's return came with extra conditions (like running the stairs of Memorial Stadium each morning) that the guard no longer wanted to meet. Edsall said that Kuraczea will look to enroll at another school in January.
