Haiku this thing: A brief UConn-Texas preview

I've made the trip up to Storrs to see today's big non-conference showdown (4 p.m., CBS; Longhorns vs Huskies coverage; Longhorns vs Huskies preview; the Texas SBNation blog is Burnt Orange Nation) between #1 Texas and our beloved #21 Huskies. And since I only have a limited time before WOO GO UCONN, I offer you my very brief game preview, in haiku form:

Number one Texas

Comes into Gampel today

Please do not hurt us

--------------------------------

History with 'Horns

Agonizing to say least

'03 was bull****

---------------------------------

Star-divide

Game two for Blane Dawg

Everyone seems more relaxed

Calhoun still scares me

--------------------------------

Sticks having great year

He's doing all we could ask

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

---------------------------------

Kemba had good game

Preparing to dominate

Vote Walker in '12

--------------------------------

Texas wants to run

Bring that s*** on, says Dyson

As he turns ball over

--------------------------------

Gampel should be loud

Students camping out all night

Geezers remain quiet

--------------------------------

Damion James is

Best in Big 12, possibly?

He will dunk on us

-------------------------------

UConn keeps it close

With every team they play; expect

A heartbreaking loss

------------------------------

Horns always have talent

But fall short. UConn's big key:

Just tell Barnes it's March

-----------------------------

Today a warm-up

Texas should beware UConn

Orange Bowl re-match

------------------------------

That's right I said it

UConn football on the rise

So I tell people.

-----------------------------

Back to basketball

UConn needs a win badly

Notre Dame our best win

-----------------------------

Biggest Gampel game

Since Nova in '06; that game

Turned out OK, no?

---------------------------

I think UConn gets

One big game from a freshman;

McJuice's time is now?

---------------------------

Texas is damn good

UConn due a break or five.

Huskies win today

----------------------------

On the other hand

This could be 06-07

Then Texas wins big

---------------------------

I hope not, at least

I weirdly have faith today

No real idea why

Prediction: UConn 65, Texas 63
