Haha I love in part 3 when Simpson talks about the CEO of GE who said reward the top 20% to help motivate the next 70%, and then just lop off the worst 10%. Because that’s exactly how Cal runs the program.
Why does it take Stan Simpson ten minutes to finish forming his questions? I’m surprised Cal didnt start interrupting him, because it really cut into Cal’s chance to talk about former players. Only one Donnie Marshall, Kevin Freeman, and Rashamel Jones reference. Pedestrian by Cal’s standards.
Other highlights: Cal clumsily mentioning that Ken Krayeske has been in law school for 15 years; Cal clumsily mentioning that the Yahoo! reporters have a vendetta against him; Cal calling Scott Burrell “Scottie” every time he brought him up.

I love when he just starts referring to people like everyone knows who he’s talking about. At one point, he starts listing players’ names and you can hear Stan interjecting/mumbling their full names in between brief pauses.
The Yahoo! jab was amazing. I’m pretty sure Wetzel never worked in Connecticut (Wojnarowski did), but somehow catches some of Cal’s wrath.
Also, “Ain’t no stopping us now” has never been performed so masterfully.
