This meeting of the "Start Kemba Walker Now Club" is now in session

I'll have more full thoughts on the game later today (although really, if all three of us are going to chime in, doesn't blog law require us to combine our opinions into one Voltron-like post?), but for now I just wanted to make this point:
Kemba Walker should absolutely be starting and playing lots o' minutes, until further notice.
I like Craig Austrie - good guy, solid backup, plays good defense, doesn't make too many mistakes. He also can't penetrate and/or finish at the rim.
With Dyson out, UConn needs to start the game with two guards who can create shots. Austrie doesn't do it. Kemba can.
Discuss.

Count me in. Your diplomatic handling of Austrie’s game is admirable. Mine remains: Austrie sucks; his only virtue is that, by definition, he does very little that’s actually bad, because he does nothing at all; no possession can account for anything if he is prominently involved in said possession.
UConn needs to get to the basket more, and Kemba’s a lot better at that than Austrie.

couldn’t have said it better myself. the only reason austrie is hear is because he hit the backup lottery 3 years ago when we lost two guards to suspensions. while he may seem to hit the sparse “clutch” 3 occasionally, he is not suited to start, PERIOD. kemba is our only hope of salvaging this season, and while walker WILL have is growing pains it will benefit us two fold; he’ll gain experience to lead future huskies, and most importantly… he’s the damn most athletic guard we have! in 3 years anthony joseph price will be shadowed by the legacy set by the great kemba from harlem!!
